Technology Device Distribution
  • NLPS distributed one-to-one technology devices to our students, PreK-12, on Thursday, March 26th, Friday, March 27th and we added a date for all students on Tuesday, March 31st. Students in grades K-2 received an iPad; students in grades 3-5 received a Chromebook and students in grades 6-12 also received a Chromebook.
  • If you are a parent who was not able to come to the school site to pick up your child’s technology device on the designated dates, please call 860-447-6084 or send an email to: and we will ensure all students receive a device.
  • Every student will be using their district-issued email address. Most secondary students, grades 6- 12, are familiar with such. Elementary students received their login information when they picked up their devices on Friday. If you are using an at home device and need this information, you may contact our PowerSchool Team at These email accounts will allow students to connect virtually with their teacher, as assigned.
  • NLPS staff will be connecting virtually with students through platforms called ZOOM and Google Classroom, as well as through a platform called See Saw (elementary only).
  • Please click here to locate and access Wi-Fi in the community.
  • All devices are expected to be returned to school by the last day of distance learning.  All NLPS technology policy expectations are to be adhered to while using your device.  If you need more information about appropriate technology use, please click here to review the policy.
